Holosun 407k X2 versus the 507k X2, thoughts? I kind of like the idea of the bigger 6 MOA dot on the 407k versus the 2 MOA on the 507k, but I know the 507k also gives you that 32 MOA a bigger circle. I just thinking with my older eyes and being new to optics I might do better with 6 MOA for dot acquisition.
Holosun makes the best RMSc pattern micro dots, so any EPS Carry(EPS if you don’t mind the overhang for larger window) or a 407k/507k. Own a few of the Aimpoint Micro footprint SIG ROMEO 4 red dots, but I think their pistol dots are way down my list in terms of what I would buy and carry.The 507C weighs 50% more at 1.5 ounces, and while still incredibly light, will have a more noticeable effect on handling. Sent it back, and Holosun's position was yes it's broken, but the warranty department will get back to you.The circle is only in the 507k though. 407k only has 6 moa dot where as the 507k has 2 moa dot 32 moa circle and then combined circle and dot. Help mounting Holosun 507k to 4” PDP compact. I am new to RMR’s. I purchased this Holosun 507K-X2 for my 4” PDP compact. I requested the plate recommended by Walther (# 4). When trying to mount it, the screws are much too long. The default Walther plate does not work for the 507k. It only works for the 507c, 407c, or 508t.
