(cold start is just supposed to head up the catalytic filter in the downpipe, so that’s why it’s commonly removed after catless downpipe installation.)e. ( I totally effed up by doing it that order but I originally didn't plan on going catless or tuning but changed my mind). I remember actually being scared in my old car sometimes from how violent it was.Downpipe is the single biggest hardware mod for the B58. HPFP being second for the 1st gen BMW engines. The TU HPFP are better. The tune obviously makes a big difference, and octane in the fuel is a large factor as well. The B58 loves ethanol and higher octane.
